Kohji Mitsubayashi received his Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo in 1994. Since 2003, he has been a Professor at the Institute of Biomaterials and Bioengineering, Tokyo Medical and Dental University. His research interests include wearable (cavitas) biosensors, gas sensors & imaging system for non-invasive bio-monitoring, and novel battery-free artificial organs (pancreas, muscles) with “Organic Engine (chemo-mechanical energy converter).”
